Car crashes into divider near Shivananda circle; four injured

Bengaluru

Four members of a family, including two children, sustained minor injuries after their car rammed into a road divider near Shivananda Circle in the early hours of Saturday.

The incident occurred around 4:30 am when the family, identified as residents of Bhadrappa Layout, was en route to the Majestic railway station. They were travelling in a Mahindra Xylo (registration number KA 01 AC 4280) when the driver reportedly lost control and crashed into the concrete divider.

The impact of the collision was strong enough to shatter the road divider into pieces. All four occupants were immediately taken to a private hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their injuries were not severe.

High Grounds traffic police reached the spot soon after the accident. With the assistance of local residents, they moved the vehicle to the side and cleared the debris to restore traffic flow in the area. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
