At least two media persons (youtubers) were reportedly attacked by a gang in Dharmasthala village during the coverage of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe.
A person, an eye witness has sent an audio to blrpost.com claiming that media persons are attacked. This news website has reliably learnt that a you tuber who runs Kudla Rampage channel and another person from United Media were beaten up. Both are admitted at Benaka hospital in Ujire.
In the audio the person said the injured persons are admitted to hospital. The sources further said this incident happened near the house of Sowjanya, a victim of abuse who was killed in 2012.
The sources further added that many assembled holding pipes and other materials and launched the attack. Several people have gathered at the Dharmasthala police station to file a complaint.
