Dharmasthala crimes: Fresh soil dumped near site where Soujanya’s body was found
Bengaluru
In a suspicious development, fresh soil was dumped at Mannasanka, near the location where Soujanya’s body was found. Blrpost.com has obtained photographs of the soil from the spot. It should be noted that 17-year-old Soujanya was killed in October 2012 and accused (Santosh Rao) in the case was acquitted in 2023.

This incident comes at a time when the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is investigating the Dharmasthala mass burial case. The State government constituted the SIT on July 19 after a man identified as Chinnayya filed a complaint at the Dharmasthala police station on July 3. In his complaint, he alleged that he was forced to bury hundreds of bodies. An FIR in this connection was registered on July 4. Chinnayya, who was initially a witness-complainant, is now an accused on charges of perjury and forgery of evidence.
Before declaring him an accused, the SIT carried out an exhumation operation and recovered skeletal remains of two human beings, which have been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination. Soil samples were also sent to the FSL for micro-analysis. The SIT has since paused the exhumation but may resume it in the coming days. Against this backdrop, the dumping of fresh soil raises several questions.

Photographs show a sizable quantity of freshly dumped soil near the place where Soujanya’s body had been abandoned. This soil was not seen about three or four days back. A villager who captured the images late on Saturday night said, “a large quantity of soil was deposited in the area, raising suspicion. There is no clarity about who dumped it. This land belongs to the government, and no roadwork is underway at this time.” He alleged that the soil was deliberately dumped to destroy evidence.
In at least two interviews with YouTube channels, Chinnayya claimed that he buried bodies in the same area where Soujanya’s body was found. He also said he was a close friend of Ravi Poojari, who died a mysterious death in Dharmasthala. “Ravi Poojari knew about the Soujanya case and had confessed to the involvement of influential people in the temple,” he stated in one interview, given before filing his complaint.

Sources in the government told this website that it was the same Chinnayya who had allegedly dumped Sowjanya’s body, but he concealed this fact from activists to protect himself. Chinnayya is currently in SIT custody after his arrest on August 23.

What is this…it seems some one inside the SIT is leaking information to the powerful of the next steps to be taken…they would have done soil sampling of that place…so they have dumped new soil over there…
Manjunath gowda who threatened chinnayya have joined sir …may is the black sheep
Now or never, is the situation in Dharmastala SIT case, to get justice and bring a new order there. Witnesses should avoid giving interviews . Too much exposure and discussions are causing harm to the probe.
Of course, people know exactly who is responsible for this. They are delaying inquiring about the individuals Chinaya alleged were involved in the mass killing and burial. Instead, they try to dismiss Chinaya’s statements and accusations, and they are probably trying to imprison him. The entire situation might lead the helpless general public, who are suffering from this atrocity, to take extreme measures that the lawmakers underestimate. However, things may take a different course, which could bring bitter consequences to those in power.
They are bif people, its not si easy to touch them, people like chinnaya and other’s are not so powerful that if something happens nobody will question, but iam worried about my next generation, what lesson are we teaching them? That power, money and rowdyism can di anything, and being a politician, all above ranks are received automatically and a legal certificate to do the crimes and nobody can touch them???
Iam waiting for the end result lets wait if we have atleast few sincere officials…..
Where is justic
Why are there constant attempts to destroy evidence? It clearly reflects the power of money and influence. A common person without such power wouldn’t even dare to commit such acts, let alone cover them up.
Naturally, the public begins to draw conclusions—because when justice is delayed and manipulated, suspicion grows. Why are we seeing so much traction in this case? It’s because people sense the truth is being hidden.
Why not let the SIT (Special Investigation Team) carry out their work transparently and honestly? Why not support them in catching the real culprits instead of shielding those with influence?
Why protect someone capable of such horrific actions? Would you still remain silent if your own daughter or sister had suffered at the hands of these monsters?
Why is it such a struggle to get justice, even after years have passed? Why is mainstream media not raising their voice? Why are those who speak out being silenced or attacked?
Why does the government does not seem to support those seeking justice?
Why defend any institution or person if they are innocent? True support lies in truth, not in blind loyalty. If the accused is innocent, let an honest investigation clear their name.
There are many questions, but only one answer: JUSTICE.
