Alleged fresh mud including debris dumped near the site

Dharmasthala Crimes: Soil dumping at Bahubali Hills allegedly aimed at obstructing probe?

Bengaluru

Fresh allegations have emerged in the ongoing Dharmasthala crime investigations, with claims that deliberate dumping of soil and debris near a key excavation site may be an attempt to destroy crucial evidence.

According to a press release issued by Advocate Manjunath N, representing Sujatha Bhat, excavation began today in the forest area at the foothills of Bahubali Hills. However, the site had recently been covered with around 10 feet of fresh soil and debris.

The SIT has marked 16th sport and commenced digging near Bahubali Hills. The sources in the Home Ministry said opposite to the point where they are digging fresh soil was seen dumped.

The statement alleged that this was done by “vested interests” to prevent the Special Investigation Team (SIT) from unearthing skeletal remains or other evidence linked to the case. With the heavy dumping, even digging seven feet deep might yield no findings, potentially derailing the investigation.

“This appears to be a calculated move to hinder justice,” the release said, questioning why this particular, sensitive location was chosen for waste disposal.  Despite the setback, the advocate expressed confidence that the SIT would uncover the truth and expose what he described as a conspiracy to obstruct the probe.
