Hosakerehalli flyover to be ready for trial run next week
Bengaluru:
The long-delayed Hosakerehalli Junction flyover on Outer Ring Road is finally nearing completion, with Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V. directing officials to wrap up the remaining work within a week.

Located near P.E.S. College in Rajarajeshwari Nagar limits, the 500-metre-long flyover is said to be about 90% complete.
Asphalt work on the central portion has been finished, and wet mix has been laid on both sides. Only the final asphalt layer and minor painting works are pending, according to officials.
During an inspection on Tuesday, Dr. Rajendra instructed engineers to fill potholes and repair damaged stretches on the service roads flanking the flyover. He also directed that all construction debris and waste materials be cleared immediately to make way for vehicular movement.

A trial run for vehicles will be conducted next week, following which the civic body plans to fix a suitable date for the formal inauguration.

Chief Engineer Swayamprabha, Executive Engineers, and other officials accompanied the Commissioner during the inspection.
