“We are not getting support from BJP for Bengaluru development,” DCM DK Shivakumar
BJP is more concerned about politics than development
They are moving court for everything
Bengaluru, Oct 25: Stating that the BJP was more concerned about politics than development, Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday said that the BJP was trying to stop infrastructure projects by bringing stay from the court.
Participating in an interaction with the public at Gandhi park in Yeshwanthpur constituency, he said, “You raised the issue of garbage. This is a fundamental issue and we are trying to get the stay in the court evicted. We are trying our best.”

“The number of vehicles in Bengaluru is growing rapidly and it is showing on the traffic. Hence, we are building a 117 km Bengaluru Business Corridor to ease traffic. We are also building a tunnel road project but BJP is trying to object to it. Let them do whatever they want, we will do our work,” he said.
Citizens can give their pleas in Cubbon Park tomorrow
“All those who were unable to give their grievances can do so at Cubbon Park between 7 am to 10 am on Sunday. People of all five corporations can submit their grievances. The public can also submit their grievances by calling 1533. We have deployed a team of officials to redress the grievances.”

Make use of the B khata conversion opportunity
“We have taken a historic decision to convert B khata to A khata. I urge the public to make use of this opportunity as it would regularise their property. Your property value doubles once you covert the B khata into A khata,” he said.
“The public have raised many issues such as garbage, roads, parks, gyms, toilets, street lamps, etc. We will look into all these. We have formed the GBA to address all your issues.”
“We have to add a few more areas to the GBA and we will do it after the elections. We are preparing a list of areas to be included under GBA,” he added.
