12 injured, 1 dead in a major explosion in Wilson Garden in Bengaluru

At least 12 persons were injured and a child was killed in a major explosion in Wilson Garden in Bengaluru on the day of Independence Day on Friday. Three houses were damaged during the blast. 

The sources say that the police have arrived at the spot and are conducting an investigation as to what caused the explosion. The police also sent the injured to the hospital. The initial reports say that the blast may have occurred due to some cylinder blast. 

The police sources say the deceased is identified as 8-year-old Mubarak. The police are now carrying out a probe at the spot to identify the source of the blast.
