A two-day “Mega e-khata Drive” held at the Sahakara Nagar Playground in the Byatarayanapura Assembly Constituency under BBMP’s Yelahanka Zone saw participation from over 4,300 people.

The event, conducted over the weekend, attracted applicants not only from the seven wards of the Byatarayanapura constituency but also from the Yelahanka Assembly Constituency and other BBMP zones.

The drive aimed to expedite the issuance of e-khatas. During the event, 4,300 tokens were distributed to applicants. Of the total applications received, 1,694 were processed, and 1,259 final E-Khatas were approved and issued on the spot.

Among the applications processed, 435 belonged to other BBMP zones. These will be reviewed further, with documents uploaded and forwarded to the respective zones for necessary action.

Yelahanka Zone Joint Commissioner Mohammad Naeem Momin stated that such e-khata drives will continue in collaboration with residents’ welfare associations, apartment committees, and local citizens. He emphasised that these efforts aim to simplify and speed up access to e-khatas across the zone.
