Provident White Oaks to offer 1,537 apartments near Bengaluru Airport

Bengaluru:

Provident Housing Ltd, a subsidiary of the Puravankara Group, has revised its residential project, which will now comprise 1,537 apartments along with multi-level car parking, retail spaces, a clubhouse, and other amenities.

The project, named Provident White Oaks, is located in Yelahanka, in close proximity to Kempegowda International Airport. It will come up on 12 acres of land.

The real estate firm acquired the land through a sale deed from the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) in July 2023.

The land was originally designated for the development of an aerospace and defence park. However, KIADB later converted it for residential use—likely with the intention of promoting a “work-live-play” environment.

The apartment development is planned in two phases.

The Mahadeva Kodigehalli Lake lies approximately 600 metres southeast of the project site. However, the developer has clarified that the site does not fall within a floodplain. With order streams traced within the plot, the company plans to construct a 600 mm stormwater drain to facilitate the smooth flow of rainwater into an adjacent nala.

The proposed development is bounded on three sides by 24-metre-wide roads.

The primary access to the site from the city is via the Bagaluru–Bandi Kodigehalli Main Road, which is about 45 metres wide, from where KIADB roads branch out. The site can also be accessed via the Hosakote–Boodigere–Devanahalli Road, which ranges from 24 to 30 metres in width.

Additionally, the upcoming Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR), proposed within 500 metres of the property, is expected to ease traffic congestion on Bagalur Road in the future.
