Wait time to come down to 15 minutes as BMRCL inducts one more train on Yellow Line
Bengaluru:
Commuters on Namma Metro’s Yellow Line can expect shorter waits starting November 1, as the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) adds its fifth train to the route.
With the new train entering service on Karnataka Rajyotsava Day, the frequency of trains during peak hours will improve from every 19 minutes to every 15 minutes.
The change is aimed at easing crowding and improving reliability on the recently opened line connecting R.V. Road and Bommasandra.
According to BMRCL, there will be no change in the first and last train timings from either terminal. The corporation has urged commuters to take note of the revised frequency and make use of the enhanced service.
