Bheema confessed to illegal burials at dominant Hindu mutt, powerful than Dharmasthala

A highly placed source in the State government said Bheema had confessed about illegal burials to a politically dominant seer of a Hindu mutt. Bheema, who is the witness-complainant and now an accused, spoke with the seer for one hour and thirty minutes at the mutt.

It should be noted that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Dharmasthala mass burial case arrested Bheema on Saturday for perjury and forgery of evidence. The SIT has also seized his phone.

Government sources said Bheema visited the mutt on his own, when the seer had scheduled appointments with several advocates and Sowjanya activists. He was accompanied by his wife in the bus. The seer is highly influential, and the mutt is considered far more powerful than the Dharmasthala Temple Institution.

Belonging to a politically dominant community, this Hindu mutt holds significant influence during elections for both the BJP and Congress. Blrpost.com will not be naming the seer in the interest of investigation.

The source clarified that Bheema’s meeting with the seer was not behind closed doors, as several others were present. “During the one-and-a-half-hour conversation, Bheema spoke about illegal burials, the Sowjanya case, and the elephant mahout. He also mentioned alleged atrocities in Dharmasthala. The seer was convinced by his confessions,” the source added.

The mutt reportedly has no fear in this case, as it controls much of the political landscape for both Congress and the BJP in Karnataka. Political observers note that neither party can afford to ignore this community. Sources further said the BJP is unaware of these developments and may be forced to step back.
