Dharmasthala Crimes: SIT summons Uday Jain

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the mass burial case has summoned Uday Jain, a former auto-rickshaw driver in Dharmasthala village. The SIT has not provided any reasons as to why Jain was called for questioning.
The sources say that he will be questioned for sometime and will be summoned again. The SIT may also call Dheeraj Kella and Mallik Jain for questioning. The SIT suspects that the trio has connection with the Dharmasthala Temple Institution and Soujanya case. 17-year-old Soujanya was killed in 2012.
Jain talking to media before visiting the SIT office said he has no clue as to why he was summoned but this may be in connection to Soujanya case. “Soujanya’s mother has filed a petition before the SIT asking to probe accused Chinnayya who was arrested on August 23 in connection to mass burial case. Mother has been accusing me but I have no role in this case. She has built a palatial bungalow and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has to probe this.”
