Bengaluru: In a major anti-drug operation, the Bengaluru City Police have arrested 10 individuals, including two foreign nationals, for allegedly trafficking narcotics across multiple parts of the city.

According to an official press note dated April 16, 2026, coordinated raids were carried out in areas such as Yelahanka New Town, Devarajeevanahalli, Banaswadi, Koramangala, Bommannahalli and Pulakeshinagar. The operation led to the seizure of a significant quantity of banned substances.

The police recovered: 5.919 kg of Methamphetamine (MDMA), 1.151 kg of cocaine and 21 kg of ganja 19 grams of ecstasy pills.

One two-wheeler used in the crime. The total value of the seized drugs is estimated at ₹11.81 crore, with a market value of approximately ₹23.63 crore.

Investigations revealed that the accused — comprising two foreign women, five individuals from other states, and two locals — were procuring narcotics from international and interstate sources. The drugs were allegedly being sold to the public, including college students, for profit.

Police said cases were registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at multiple police stations, following intelligence inputs. Subsequent raids led to the arrests across different dates.

All 10 accused have been produced before a court, which has remanded them to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway to trace the larger supply network and identify additional suspects involved in the racket.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of senior IPS officers and involved multiple divisions and police station teams across the city.
