Bengaluru North Corporation to hold phone-in programme on Friday
Bengaluru
In a move aimed at ensuring speedy redressal of public grievances, Bengaluru North City Corporation Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar will continue the weekly Phone-In Programme held every Friday. The initiative allows citizens to directly communicate civic concerns to the Commissioner for immediate action.
The next phone-in session is scheduled for Friday, November 21, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, during which the Commissioner will personally receive calls and issue directions to resolve complaints without delay.
Residents can report issues related to potholes, streetlight repairs, waste collection, trimming of dangerous tree branches, mosquito control, problems caused by stray dogs, maintenance of parks, removal of illegal banners and posters, encroachment on footpaths, e-khata matters, and drainage-related complaints.
All grievances received during the programme will be registered on the Sahaaya 2.0 portal and forwarded immediately to the concerned officials. Once a complaint is filed, citizens will receive an SMS containing the complaint number and contact details of the responsible officer.
